Glen D. Chambers Consulting, based in Springfield, Ohio, is a resource and training organization built with the Government auditor in mind.  Recognizing the challenges facing the Government auditor in today’s environment, our primary goal is to develop training and reference materials that provide the auditor (Federal, State, or Local) with the necessary skills and knowledge to audit effectively.  With the proliferation of electronic information systems over the past two decades, coupled with imposed budget/staffing reductions in many audit organizations at all levels, we as an audit community are now faced with the reality of doing more with less.  This can only be accomplished by utilizing the technology to our advantage – through sound audit planning, structured risk assessments, and adequate training to conduct the audits.  Glen D. Chambers Consulting is an organization that has grown over the last several years with one simple concept in mind – design something that the Government auditor can use.

Looking for audit-related discussion topics for staff meetings, luncheons, or individual audit participative work team sessions?  We have a variety of topics in this category where the sessions range from one to four hours in duration depending on the subject matter.  Informative, yet designed to meet the training requirements mandated by Government Auditing Standards, our presentations are structured to provide a good overview of the specific topic with both the audit staff and audit management team in mind.

Training and Courses

We specialize in meeting the training needs of today’s auditors in the Government’s information system environment.  The Government Auditing Standards mandate that Government auditors (Federal, State, and Local) receive up-to-date training in order to maintain their professional standing.  We have several courses in our curriculum that are designed to provide auditors, team leaders, supervisors and managers training in the area of auditing in the information systems environment.
